Having spent most of my working life as a lone female traveller, this is exactly the type of hotel I like to stay in. Small, with personal service by the owners, it felt comfortable and safe. The food was excellent, home cooked, with a good selection - something for everyone except lovers of ready-meals. The thing that impressed most was the immaculate condition of the rooms. The whole place looked as if it had just been painted and newly carpeted and was fresh and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had an overnight stop here as part of a weekend away. The location is very convenient for Cheltenham and other Cotswold villages. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. The bar and restaurant were a blessing, with good food at a very reasonable price.

Set in the most gorgeous area of Charlton Kings!! the hotel offered great friendly welcome... the room was ready well on time as a special request because of a family wedding I had to attend, the following day at breakfast I was well looked after and when I left I felt part of a family of caring people!! great stay!

Only stayed one night but felt really welcome from the outset. I was visiting friends in the evening so did not have the opportunity for an evening meal, the menu looked good though. Breakfast was good.

If you want to visit this area for business or pleasure with a no frills but friendly and clean hotel then this is a good place to stay.

As a business traveller, I need to stay at wi-fi enabled hotels. Unfortunately my laptop would not work for various reasons. However, I was provided with a laptop by the hotel to use during my stay....fantastic customer service provided to me. The hotel itself is very clean and food good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
